The RFID system for automatic
consumer recognition consists of credit card type
tags, vehicle tags and RF reader electronics. This system is
custom-designed for indoor or outdoor environment. The design is based
on a patented dual frequency approach. Each tag contains a unique and
secure ID code that is programmed in at manufacture. In the application,
each customer is individually registered to a tag so that he can be
uniquely identified. The tags communicate with the RF reader unit. After
a tag enters the read zone (approximately 20 – 100 cm from the reader)
and the reader receives the ID code, the system begins an authentication
process to verify that the tag is genuine. It also performs a lookup in
the customer database to find if the customer is authorized to enter.
The authentication and authorization processes can be completed within a
few milliseconds. Cost effectiveness It is estimated that magnetic stripe cards must be replaced two to three times per year. This is not the case with RFID tags, as there are no exposed and vulnerable parts to break on this rugged device. This is true of reader electronics, as well, that are kept safe inside a closed box. There are no insertion points to get damaged, as with card readers. The lifetime investment and ongoing maintenance costs for RFID below that of the known alternative choices like magnetic stripe systems. We are pleased to offer complete RFID access systems to suit your needs. Our systems are based on proven Texas Instruments technology (40 millions tags sold). Lost or stolen tag numbers can easily be removed from the system to prevent unauthorized access. The system will log time of entry as well as attempts to enter along with tag number. Access can be limited to specific hours programmed by system administrator. Interaction with fire alarm systems can be accomplished (doors open in case of fire) if required. Our systems are easily programmable by Infra Red control device eliminating a need for wires and connectors. For
